Our Story

Hi there! I'm Jess, founder and creative director of Silo Studio.

My design journey started at Billy Blue College of Design, graduating in 2018. I was fortunate to land my first role at a boutique graphic design studio on Sydney's south coast, working alongside their Senior Designer. This experience was truly formative—pushing me to quickly develop both my technical skills and creative perspective in a fast-paced environment.

Over seven years working with leading design studios across Sydney and Perth, I've developed my own unique approach to visual storytelling. What began as a passion project on the side has blossomed into Silo Studio—a thriving independent design studio nestled in the stunning Margaret River Region.

I've had the joy of collaborating with a diverse range of clients—from exciting startups to established businesses in hospitality, fashion, health & beauty, tourism, non-profit organisations, technology, local government, land development and real estate industries. Each partnership has added to my design perspective and strengthened my ability to create meaningful solutions.

Branding is where my heart truly lies! I love crafting strategic visual identities that authentically connect businesses with their ideal audiences. Through thoughtful, purposeful design, I help transform business visions into compelling visual stories that not only look beautiful but drive real results.

Beyond creating beautiful work, I believe in using my business as a force for positive change. Which is why I've partnered with Destiny Rescue, making monthly donations to support their critical mission of freeing children from slavery and exploitation. Through this partnership, I’m building further purpose into my work, creating designs that matter while contributing to causes that truly make a difference in our world.
